Actively shape tomorrow’s commerce at »Handelskraft 2017 – Conference for digital success«

On March 23rd 2017 the key players of digital commerce come together at the Porsche factory in Leipzig to exchange ideas on best practices and latest trends in the scene. Alongside top acts like Gerd Leonhard and Urs Meier, representatives of successful companies with broad digital experience like Rewe digital or BayWa form the line-up of the Handelskraft conference.

For companies that want to operate economically and be successful in the long run, there’s no way of avoiding digital transformation. „Handelskraft 2017 – the conference for digital success“ provides both industry insiders and newcomers with a platform to get informed and swap ideas about about possible digital concepts. This year’s top themes do not only include e-commerce for B2B and B2C businesses, but also CRM systems, marketing automation, conversational commerce, microservices and, last but not least, the trend topic internet or commerce of things. Furthermore the speakers will explain how digital solutions can work out even with very special requirements, why you should sometimes allow yourself mistakes in the online race and what agile working with an agency can look like.

Besides futurist and author Gerd Leonhard – known for his inspiring and provocative future scenarios – this year’s line-up includes Alexander Schmelzl, Director E-Business Construction at BayWa AG, Dr. Robert Zorres, CTO of REWE digital, Oliver Dahms, Manager at Dahms solutions GmbH, and Swiss soccer expert and entrepreneur Urs Meier. As representatives of successful B2B and B2C companies, Yves Lüthi, Head of Product Management at geschenkidee.ch, and Stefan Schlinger, Department Head Inhouse Service Center at Messe Düsseldorf, will talk about their hands-on e-commerce experience.

Alongside the mentioned longstanding experts from economy and society, the dotSource specialists, in whose digital business expertise leading companies like Würth, Swarovski and Musicstore, but also publishing houses like Cornelsen, Veritas and Verlag an der Ruhr trust, will also be on site. Only 15 minutes away from the Leipzig Book Fair, representatives of the publishing sector have the chance to get advice and inform themselves about the topics online marketing, customer service and product presentation in the digital age at the offered expert clinics.

The day before the conference, participants can meet the speakers at the warm-up evening.  For Handelskraft guests there’s also the opportunity to attend an exclusive tour through the Porsche plant or to take part in a fast-paced taxi ride on the Porsche on-road circuit. In eight cities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, interested parties can listen to our experts’ inspiring presentations and experience networking in a relaxed atmosphere.
