Press Release
In the course of current developments, the digital agency dotSource from Jena has drawn up an action plan which is now being implemented step by step. This plan mainly takes into account the health of all employees and is intended to further ensure stable client and project support as well as efficient work.
Of course, the digital agency also observes the latest developments with regard to the spreading coronavirus infections (COVID-19) in Germany. In view of the constantly changing situation, dotSource is well prepared for the coming weeks and has drawn up an action plan for this purpose. It is based on the “Betriebliche Pandemieplanung” (Corporate Pandemic Preparedness Plan) published by the German Federal Office of Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance and specifies which steps are to be adhered to both internally and in cooperation with clients in case of further spreading of the virus.
Amongst other things, this plan comprises comprehensive preparation with regard to a possible change of workplace from office to »home office«. In order to ensure stable project support, all employees were asked to check the possibilities for a temporary workplace within their own four walls and to keep them clear in case of an emergency. Other preventive measures, for example, concern employees who are part of particularly vulnerable target groups. These employees were asked to work from home with immediate effect for the sake of their own health. »As a digital agency, we are in the fortunate position of not necessarily having to do our work directly from the office. As long as we have access to the Internet, we can work practically anywhere. Therefore, we would like to clearly point out once again that we have taken all measures we could and, if necessary, will take further measures to ensure stable support for our clients and our projects,« Christian Grötsch, managing director at dotSource, says.
A first preventive measure that was already taken last week was the redesign of the annual Handelskraft Conference organised by dotSource. The conference is to take place on the 19th of March as an online edition for the first time. With this format, dotSource wants to make the best out of the current circumstances and not make the successful digital transformation of open-minded companies dependent on a virus. In terms of keynotes, sessions and speakers, nothing has changed in this new format.
