Jena/Berlin – In 2022, dotSource's annual event, the Handelskraft Conference for Digital Success, has won the DEUTSCHER AGENTURPREIS (German Agency Award) in the »B2B / Event [Digital]« category. Since 2020, the digital conference has evolved from an MVP to a multiple-award-winning event. In 2023, for the first time, it will be a hybrid conference, with the on-site event taking place on the 22nd of March in Leipzig.
Trends, analyses, everything straight forward! This is what the Handelskraft Conference for Digital Success has stood for since 2016. For the organisers, this triad describes that the event is about the latest trends in digital business, which are presented in an easily comprehensible manner using practical examples. For the last three years, this concept has also managed to hold its ground as a digital event. Now the Handelskraft Conference for Digital Success has won the German Agency Award 2022 in the »B2B / Event [Digital]« category.
Holistic Conference Experience – On Site, Remote and Hybrid
Hosting large events – whether on site or remote – is not the core business of dotSource. Nevertheless, for the last seven years, the Handelskraft Conference has been a permanent fixture in the event calendar of the digital agency – and thus also for its clients and all brands, retailers, manufacturers, publishers and institutions on their way to becoming digital champions. This was also the case over the last three years, during which live events were not possible due to the pandemic.
In 2020, the Handelskraft team made a virtue out of necessity and developed the concept for the digital Handelskraft Conference within a few weeks. Over the following years, the resulting MVP evolved into a top-class digital conference. Most recently, the Handelskraft Conference was broadcast in TV quality from dotSource's own recording studio. The speakers addressed their audience on a high-performance online platform and had opportunities for networking and interaction alongside the speeches and panels. In terms of content, the conference was focused on business-relevant components of megatrends such as data-driven business, agility, sustainability and diversity. For a holistic conference experience, lunch boxes were sent to the participants beforehand – completely free of charge.
This comprehensive package is appreciated by speakers and participants alike, enabling the Handelskraft Conference to build a loyal fan base over the years. Since this year, the German Agency Award has also been part of this fan base, with its expert jury presenting the Handelskraft Conference 2022 with first place in the »B2B / Event [Digital]« category. On the 22nd of March 2023, the Handelskraft Conference will go one step further and take place as a hybrid event for the first time, featuring an on-site conference at the Kunstkraftwerk Leipzig and an online broadcast via live stream.
About the DEUTSCHER AGENTURPREIS
The DEUTSCHER AGENTURPREIS (German Agency Award) has been presented to communication, advertising and digital agencies since 2014. An independent jury made up of experts from the field assesses the submissions in three categories and numerous subcategories. In 2022, 393 agencies submitted 1,447 projects, the best of which were awarded with the coveted trophies.
