dotSource hits turnover mark of 10 million euros and further expands its service portfolio with new addition Thomas Böhme

With a total annual turnover of 10 million euros in 2016, the digital agency dotSource recorded a year-on-year revenue growth of 56 per cent. With its new team member, the Jena company plans to expand its service portfolio in the field of customer relationship management in 2017.

Jena, 9th January, 2017

On its eleven-year anniversary on January 5th, 2017, dotSource GmbH looks back on a successful year. In 2016 the company's 145 employees generated an annual turnover of 10 million euros for the first time. 
However, Managing Director and Founder Christian Grötsch does not want to sit back now. He strives to employ a total of 300 people by 2020. In this context, 1600 m² of new office space will be opened up in the centre of Jena from this year on.

In Germany, Austria and Switzerland, dotSource GmbH is a renowned service partner in all e-commerce-related areas, with more than 80 clients including companies such as Hagebau, Würth, Music Store and Messe Düsseldorf. To live up to its vision of "digitalisation of marketing and sales" in the long term, the company further expands its service portfolio. Since the beginning of the year, dotSource also offers its clients advisory and conceptual support in the selection and technical integration of a suitable PIM, CRM, and marketing automation system.

With Thomas Böhme as head of the newly created CRM team, an experienced expert appears on the scene. Employed as a manager with Accenture before, he has more than 20 years of experience in the field of sales management and has already supported well-known companies in the digitalisation and automation of marketing and sales.

"This is the next logical step for us, since e-commerce as such cannot be considered in isolation. Successful digital business does not only include the selection of the appropriate shop system, but ideally also combines all other systems that contribute to process handling and customer relationship management, such as PIM, CMS and CRM", Christian Grötsch explains.
