With the launch of the e-commerce platform wuerth.de, the global market leader in assembly and fastening materials was able to enter B2B online trade. As exclusive partner, dotSource has been supporting the development of e-commerce platforms since the end of 2013.

With its new B2B e-commerce platform, Würth aims to offer customers considerable added value through individual services, practical system solutions, and a wide range of products. For example, this includes electronic procurement solutions for automated transfer and exchange of data, like the free Würth App. Technicians, service engineers, or craftsmen and workers who have to be mobile can the app to access product information and place orders.
In addition to the functional further development in the area of B2B e-commerce and e-procurement, dotSource was also responsible for the development of an interface to the Würth app. The dotSource team supports the trader on-site in Künzelsau or at the Würth subsidiaries abroad. Moreover, dotSource conceptually advises the Würth companies on entering online trade and optimising their e-commerce activities.

In order to enable the professionals and executives at Adolf Würth GmbH & Co. KG to expand the e-commerce business and to advance new ideas and fields within the company, since 2015 many Würth employees are being trained as "E-Commerce Managers" at the Digital Business School, a professional development programme by the Steinbeis Technology Group and dotSource GmbH.
