The Jena-based digital agency dotSource GmbH has recorded record sales for many years. In order to be able to keep up with increasing demand in the field of digitisation, despite a shortage of skilled workers, dotSource relies on its own promotion of young talent and the opening of an office in Leipzig, Saxony.

When the digital agency was founded in January 2006 with three employees, no one thought that 12 years later it would be one of the fastest-growing companies in the industry. Since then, dotSource has seen steadily rising sales and employee numbers. In April 2018, the Jena-based company welcomed its 200th employee - another milestone in the company's history.
»We are proud of the development in recent years and, above all, of the fact that, despite our ambitious growth targets, we managed to retain the charm of a young start-up after twelve years. The team spirit in our company is unique, which is reflected in the extremely low employee turnover,« says Christian Grötsch, founder and managing director of dotSource GmbH.
A guarantee that it will remain true in the future, are the innovatively designed (and equipped with the latest technology) office space, which not only provides space to work, but above all, fosters an environment of collaboration and creative coexistence - A prerequisite for further success in the fast-moving digital industry. More and more companies want to digitise their marketing, sales, and service processes, resulting in more and more complex projects. In order to meet these requirements, dotSource has responded in the last three years by increasing its team by 100 employees. Further growth is being sought.
»We are aiming to grow to 300 employees by 2020. Specialists in the field of digitisation are very scarce. In order to achieve our target, we rely heavily on our own promotion of young talent. We are also planning to expand our office in Berlin and set up another location in Leipzig, Saxony,” says Grötsch.
Among other things, the company trains IT specialists for systems integration and office management and e-commerce merchants, supervises undergraduate and graduate students, and employs BA students. Even interns with a preference for everything digital are welcome.
