Jena – The digital agency dotSource SE once again demonstrated its resilience and innovative strength in 2024. Despite a challenging economic environment, dotSource maintained its position as one of the leading digital agencies in Germany while keeping its revenue stable. Moreover, important milestones were reached, laying the foundation for continued success in the future.

2024 – a year full of challenges, marked by dynamic developments both within and outside the company. Nevertheless, dotSource once again proved its ability to adapt and develop innovative solutions.
The year kicked off with a highlight: the successful Handelskraft Conference in March, held under the slogan »Digitale Metamorphose« (»Digital Metamorphosis«), which later won the DEUTSCHER AGENTURPREIS (German Agency Award) in the »Live Event« category. The remote edition of the conference had already received this award in the past – clear proof that the concept is compelling both on site and online. This year, the conference will celebrate its 10th anniversary under the slogan »High Five«.

In May, dotSource was named »TOP Ausbildungsunternehmen 2024« (»TOP Training Company 2024«) by IHK Ostthüringen – a testament to its strong commitment to fostering young talent. That same month, dotSource achieved a significant milestone in the BVDW Internet Agency Ranking 2024, securing a top 5 spot in the »E-Commerce« subcategory for the first time – an improvement of three places compared to the previous year.
September brought three major accolades: dotSource received the Best Retail Cases Award for its AI project with Lampenwelt and was recognised by the »MINT Thüringen« initiative for its dedication to youth development. In addition, dotSource took the top spot in iBusiness' renowned ranking of Germany's largest owner-run digital agencies for the third time in a row.
The developments at the future dotSource Campus mark another key step forward: Following the ground-breaking ceremony in May, supported by millions in funding, contaminated sites are currently being cleared and archaeological excavations are being prepared.

Despite economic uncertainties, dotSource is optimistic: The digital agency has used 2024 to optimise processes, expand its expertise and establish new services. »Optimism remains a must,« Grötsch emphasises, referring to the company's proven agility. dotSource continues to pursue ambitious goals, focusing on growth, excellence and an inspiring corporate culture. The company firmly believes that digitalisation is transforming the world for the better – an outlook that keeps dotSource going, even in uncertain times.
