More Efficient Product Data and Asset Management
Analytik Jena's goal was to eliminate the separation of product data and corresponding assets in order to make it possible to use them simultaneously across all digital channels. It was necessary to establish a single source of truth for the entire company and set up a model for digital assets, e.g. images, videos and data sheets. This was achieved by implementing a product information management (PIM) and master data management (MDM) tool and integrating it into the existing system landscape.
Improved Workflows, Enhanced Data Quality
Thanks to the PIM and MDM solution from Stibo Systems, Analytik Jena now benefits from access to up-to-date product data. Not only does this make it easier to edit and enrich product information, but it also contributes to the modernisation of workflows and a significant improvement in data quality. Manual updating of data sets in the content management system, for example, is no longer necessary because they are automatically synchronised with the PIM and MDM tool via an interface.
Price List Design in Next to No Time
With the implementation of Stibo STEP, the dotSource expert team also developed various interfaces for importing and exporting product data, e.g. automatically combining it with assets and references using InDesign templates. The smart integration of the print solution offered by Stybo Systems helps users save enormous amounts of time when creating publications in Adobe InDesign – based on validated data from the PIM and MDM tool. With just two clicks, changes to attributes are applied to publications by means of a database update.
