About hessnatur

hessnatur has been a key player in the German fair fashion industry since 1976. The company takes on a pioneering role in setting ecological and social standards in textile production.

It all started with a baby collection made entirely of natural materials. In 1991, hessnatur went on to become the world's first brand to grow organic cotton. Later, women's and men's clothing as well as home textiles were added to the company's product range.

The company now has around 360 employees and operates a highly successful online shop as well as brick-and-mortar stores in Hamburg, Munich, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt and Butzbach.

Tailored CMS Integration

hessnatur's online shop, which had been implemented as part of a previous project with dotSource, laid the foundation for unprecedented sales growth between 2020 and 2022. To build on this, the new CMS was connected to the existing system landscape by the dotSource expert team. Moreover, an intelligent search tool from Algolia was integrated, making it possible to create personalised offers throughout the customer journey.
