Project Successes
SAP-Based Online Shop with Powerful B2B Features
Together with dotSource, KIPP implemented a powerful online shop that is based on SAP Commerce Cloud and boasts impressive B2B features, e.g. live product availability queries, display of customer-specific prices and the option to download computer-aided design data. In addition, dotSource made sure that the online shop can be supplied with product data via the product information management tool already used by KIPP.
Improved Design and Better Overview
To give the KIPP online shop a more modern look, the dotSource user experience design (UXD) team developed screen designs for various subpages as well as a simplified navigation structure for the numerous product lines and families. The user experience on the product detail pages was also significantly improved so that the numerous product variants are now presented in a clearer and more user-friendly way.
Cloud Move for Sustainable Success
With the support of dotSource, a complex cloud move was completed, with KIPP's entire online shop architecture being migrated from an on-premises solution to SAP Commerce Cloud. This makes the new online shop more resilient, scalable and resource-efficient, as it consumes less energy in the long term than local hosting.
