Outstanding User Experience in Tune with the Times and the Target Group
Initial Situation
With the desire to modernise its online brand presence and improve usability on mobile devices, Mövenpick Wein commissioned dotSource to create a new design concept and subsequently integrate it into the existing Magento e-commerce platform.
Not only did the redesign have to be in line with the latest design trends, but it also had to meet the heterogeneous target group's different expectations of an online shop interface.

The platform redesign significantly increases convenience and improves customer service. The well thought out architecture provides users with a positive customer experience in the virtual wine cellar – right from the start. Through better performance and usability, new visitors as well as returning and regular customers are addressed according to their needs on the homepage.
Determined shoppers are led directly to the product of their desire and indecisive visitors are guided through the process and provided with concrete recommendations. Regular customers are inspired by the alternating product presentations to delve deeper into an assortment previously unknown to them.
