Digitising Sales and Service Processes of a Globally Operating Formwork and Scaffolding Company

Initial Situation & Objectives

In spring 2019, PERI approached dotSource with a challenge: PERI had already been very successful in wholesale and large project business and wanted to make its innovative products available to smaller construction companies with up to 20 employees in the future, using a B2B web platform that combines content and commerce elements.

Project Scope & Implementation

In line with agile principles, the new B2B website was planned and developed as an MVP (minimum viable product). It now collects valuable data and is available in two countries (Hungary and Denmark). With the help of a 3D configurator, potential customers can professionally configure their scaffolding and purchase it with PERI as their partner.

Success & Added Value

The MVP provides PERI with valuable insights and data and allows the company to check whether it pays off to tap into this new customer base and open up a new business field. Furthermore, an easy-to-use website that is extremely appealing in terms of design and usability has been created, enabling customers to easily configure their own scaffolds and calculate the costs.
