TENTE International GmbH, based in Cologne, Germany, is the holding company of the TENTE Group and one of the world's leading manufacturers of wheels and castors. Founded in Wermelskirchen in 1923, the company is now represented on five continents with 29 subsidiaries. With the new product information management (PIM) system, TENTE can manage and update its product data much more efficiently. The flexible data model makes it possible to add new attributes or change existing ones quickly and easily. Furthermore, the centralised management of product data via reference entities saves time and avoids redundancies. Thanks to the modernised data management, everyone involved has access to up-to-date and consistent information, which significantly facilitates collaboration and workflows.
Competent Advice at All Levels
The dotSource experts provided consulting services on methodological, configurational and technical aspects to ensure that the new PIM system was perfectly tailored to TENTE's requirements. This was achieved through joint workshops as well as close collaboration following the »driving school model«.
